Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern use of Maintenance Box, provided by MaintenanceV ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, users agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If a user does not agree, they must not use the app.

2. Purpose of the App

Maintenance Box is a facility and engineering maintenance management tool for tasks, PPM, work orders, checklists, energy readings, material requests, reports, owner communication, user management, trials, and subscriptions. It is a record-keeping and workflow tool, not a replacement for professional engineering judgment, safety procedures, legal compliance, or site-specific approvals.

3. Accounts and Responsibility

Users must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and use the app only for authorized business or maintenance purposes. The account holder is responsible for activity under their account. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported immediately.

4. Roles and Permissions

Access to features and records depends on the assigned role, such as owner, manager, supervisor, technician, purchaser, or super admin. Users must not access, change, export, or share information unless they are authorized to do so.

5. User Content

Users are responsible for information, messages, photos, attachments, reports, and records they submit. Users must not upload illegal, false, harmful, offensive, confidential, unsafe, or unauthorized content. By submitting content, users allow Maintenance Box to store, process, display, and share it as needed to operate the app.

6. Maintenance and Safety Responsibility

Users and their organizations remain responsible for verifying task details, safety requirements, technical decisions, work completion, regulatory compliance, and emergency procedures. We are not responsible for incorrect entries, missed tasks, delayed responses, incomplete work, or decisions made from user-entered information.

7. Notifications and Communication

The app may send notifications for tasks, work orders, messages, reports, requests, subscription status, trial status, or account activity. Delivery may depend on internet service, device settings, Firebase, operating system behavior, and other third-party services.

8. Trials, Subscriptions, and Payments

The app may support trial access, owner-managed access, manual subscription status, test payment flows, or future paid subscription options. Any real paid subscription offered inside the Google Play version of the app will be presented with clear pricing, duration, renewal, and cancellation terms and will follow applicable Google Play payment requirements. Access may be limited, suspended, or ended if a trial expires, payment is not completed, subscription status is disabled by an authorized owner, or the account violates these Terms.

9. Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, upload malicious code, disrupt service, copy or resell the app, reverse engineer restricted parts, or use the app for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

The app, design, software, branding, features, text, and related materials belong to the developer or licensors. Users receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the app according to these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on Firebase, Google services, payment providers, device operating systems, hosting providers, email providers, and notification services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, terms, policies, security incidents, or service changes.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profit, business interruption, operational delay, or safety incidents arising from use of the app.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, misuses the app, fails to pay required fees, or if the service is discontinued.
